AMR & BILLING
Smart gas metering
Collect gas-consumption readings remotely and organise them by connection for reporting and billing. The proposed metering arrangement is assessed against the gas supplier's requirements and the existing installation.

Installation & integration
- Review gas type, meter specification, connection quantities and supplier requirements.
- Assess approved meter interfaces or compatible smart meters and gateway coverage.
- Set up connection mapping, reading reports and supported billing integration.
What it helps you do
- Reduce the need to visit each accessible meter for routine reading collection.
- Maintain a clearer consumption history for individual connections.
- Support billing checks using recorded readings and agreed billing rules.
HOW IT WORKS
From requirement to operation.
- 01
Read
The gas meter measures volume at the connection.
- 02
Transfer
A compatible communication interface passes readings to the collection system.
- 03
Report
The platform groups usage by connection for review and billing.
Questions about smart gas metering
Is remote reading a gas-leak alarm?
No. Consumption monitoring is separate from a dedicated gas-detection and safety system. Do not rely on AMR to provide leak protection.
Can existing gas meters be connected?
This depends on the meter interface, communication compatibility and gas supplier's approval. Share the make and model for assessment.
