MONITORING & CONTROL

Building management systems

Give facility operators a central view of supported building equipment. A BMS can bring AHU controls and compatible equipment-status signals into a structured operator interface.

Installation & integration

  • Prepare a point list covering equipment, measurements, status signals and permitted control actions.
  • Assess compatible controllers and communication interfaces for AHUs and other agreed equipment.
  • Configure operator graphics, supported alarms and trends, then test each agreed integration and train the facility team.

What it helps you do

  • Reduce the need to check multiple isolated equipment interfaces.
  • Help operators identify supported alarm conditions and changing operating patterns.
  • Document equipment points and permissions for a clearer handover.

HOW IT WORKS

From requirement to operation.

  1. 01

    Define points

List exactly what is to be monitored or controlled.

  2. 02

    Integrate

Connect supported field devices and controllers to the BMS.

  3. 03

    Operate

Use configured graphics, alarm lists and trends to review building conditions.

Questions about building management systems

Can fire alarms and lifts be monitored?

Supported status signals may be integrated where the equipment supplier permits. The BMS does not replace the dedicated fire or lift safety controls.

Can different makes work together?

Compatibility depends on available interfaces, protocols, licences and the points exposed by each system. Integration is confirmed during design.
